It is a simple, nice hotel with a perfect location. It’s a 5-minute walk from the train station. The grocery store is across the street. A couple of minutes walk to the Sea North and North Frontiers. John picked us up from the train station and reassured us that it was safe to walk in the town (at least in July ). Great value, would stay again.
My son and I travelled up north to Churchill to experience a night with no official night on June 21st, 2025 and to swim in Hudson Bay (Arctic Ocean) to say that we have swam in all 3 of Canada's Oceans. The Hotel staff were excellent and made us really feel at home and were of great help for sites to see around Churchill in the summer. We didn't see any Polar Bears, but didn't expect to as it is not Polar Bear season in the summer. I highly recommend the Churchill Motel, you will not be disappointed. The Motel is only 300 metres from the train station, yet the staff picked us up right at the station which was a great "ice breaker", pardon the pun, to meet them.
